In this project, the viewer/audience are intrigued to explore an interactive system that reveals and develops a multiplicity of visual narratives. The screen as a medium is deconstructed, and it is re- contextualized in the form of a custom-made interactive installation. Hidden within the minimal structure is a digital interface that allows the participants to unlock the non-linear narratives that exist within its core. A series of visual stories are presented in a mysterious
and ritualistic process that are accompanied with endlessly varying sonic landscapes. Using the interaction mechanisms, the stories are interweaved and present alternative meanings and audiovisual stimuli. The composition is created in realtime using a range of audio and video processing software that communicates with the control systems assembling altogether a unique and alternative narrative experience. Thus, the project allows us to rethink the media that we are exposed to, and in accordance to that, develop alternative and enhanced perceptions and consciousness.
